I bought one and drank out of it, of course. What can it do to me???
Nothing. The cups have cadmium in the paint, but not in toxic amounts. But the fact they have any at all is why there were VOLUNTARILY recalled. ALso, the cups were made in the usa.

Dont know, but Mcdonalds found cadmium in the paint wich came from china, but there was no mandatory recall from the fda, mcdonalds is just playing it safe. It prob wont do anything to you....maybe.
The cups were recalled due to concerns with led in the paint used to draw the characters.
The paint on the glasses had cadmium in it, which is a toxic metal that if ingested can cause cancer.
